Dr. Timothy Gardner’s 8th
Annual Dentistry from the Heart event held at Conroe Comprehensive Dental
Center, Saturday, May 14, 2016 initially donated more than $35,000 worth of
free dentistry to more than 65 underprivileged
residents of Montgomery County.
A
mechanical malfunction in the office about 3 PM Saturday, caused dental
services to come to a halt. Dr. Gardner addressed the crowd of approximately 20 residents and
assured them that they would be seen within the next few weeks at either his
Conroe or Montgomery locations. There is an estimated $10,000 of remaining dental
work to be completed on patients. The first round of patients were contacted and
began treatment in Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center on Tuesday, May 17,
2016.
Procedures done free of charge included
cleanings, fillings and extractions. Their mission was to treat infections and
get patients out of pain.
Volunteers
included Dr. Seth Harris, Dr. Jess Legg, Dr. Radley Robins, Morgan Harris, RDH,
Rachel Jameson, RDH, Jennifer Nelson, RDH and Mirna , RDH, numerous volunteers
and team members. Donations were provided by Papa John’s Pizza, Patterson
Dental Supply and Ellisor Construction.
